DCEU Movies coming in 2023 – 2025

New heroes and the return of everyone’s favorite characters. 

The movie “Black Adam,” which stars Dwayne Johnson as the main character, just had its premiere. We tell you what new characters in the DC Universe we will soon see in movies and TV shows, and which of the comic book characters will return to the screens again.

Wonder Woman 3

Premiere Date: 2023


Shortly just after Wonder Woman’s 1984 release, it was announced that the next installment in the franchise about the brave Amazonian Diana Prince, played by Gal Gadot, was in development. According to director Patty Jenkins, the action will take place in our time. The film is planned to hit theaters in 2023 or early 2024.

Deadshot

Premiere date: August 2, 2024


Even in 2016, following the release of Suicide Squad, rumors spread that the studio planned to make a new film featuring the mercenary Deadshot, with Will Smith resuming his role. While the movie’s details are hidden in mystery. According to The Hollywood Reporter. the movie was delayed in 2022 because of a $20 million budgetary issue, a fee requested by Smith. In the meantime, fans can only hope that by the expected date of the premiere, the story of Floyd Lawton will actually appear on the screens.

Nightwing

Premiere date: 2025


It was revealed in 2017 that Warner Bros. is working on a movie with Dick Grayson, Robin’s partner Batman. Chris McKay, from The Lego Movie: Batman, was reportedly given the director’s chair at the same time, and production was scheduled to begin as early as 2018. But due to the Covid-19 outbreak, it was delayed, however, the studio was forced to put the project on hold at the moment. The movie is expected to hit theatres in 2025, however, there is currently no more information available.

Gotham City Sirens

Premiere date: 2023


Margot Robbie would resume her role as the aggressive Harley Quinn in The Suicide Squad spin-off, which was announced back in 2016. In order to defeat the enemy and defend Gotham, the supervillain will allegedly need to work with Catwoman and Poison Ivy. Fans should be able to see the movie by the end of the next year.

Blue Beetle

Premiere date: August 16, 2023


The movie Blue Beetle tells the tale of Mexican kid Jaime Reyes, who discovers an alien artifact and gets the powers of the Blue Beetle. It is one of the few films, along with “Shazam!” that is targeted toward a teenage audience. Xolo Mariduena, is in the lead role he is also known for the series “Cobra Kai” and “Parents.”  The opponent will be Susan Sarandon, an Oscar winner. Her opponent is Victoria Lord, a villain who has not yet appeared in the narrative, so details about the character are still unknown. This part was first claimed by Sharon Stone, however, the actress eventually dropped from the project.

The Flash

Premiere Date: June 22, 2023


The first movie, whose lead was the scientist Barry Allen gained superpowers as a result of a failed experiment, which has been in development since 2004. The Flash will attempt to travel back in time to prevent the death of his mother, creating an alternate reality, according to the movie’s premise. Ezra Miller played the role in the film Suicide Squad and Justice League.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom

Premiere Date: March 16, 2023


To the surprise of fans, the first “Aquaman,” which debuted in 2018 and quickly reached the top of the DC film box office, demonstrated that a sequel is only a matter of time. Little is known about the movie’s Director, although Jason Momoa is back in the superhero role, and James Wan, who wrote the first chapter, is again in the director’s chair.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods

Premiere Date: March 16, 2023


The DCEU’s first movie to specifically target teenagers was Shazam. Shortly after the movie’s premiere and box office success, the filmmakers started work on a follow-up to the tale of Billy Batson, a little kid who developed the power to shout the word “Shazam!” and transform into a superhero.

The second film was finished in 2021, and it was initially scheduled to debut in December of this year. However, the release date was delayed to prevent conflict with the Avatar sequel, which will be released on December 14.
